The REMEDY. Recognize LAWFUL state government.

And therein lies the crux of the disease that plagues this "Liberty Movement". Socialized healthcare, out of control spending on every government level, taxes upon taxes, blatant unconstitutional actions, a worthless paper currency... The list grows longer and longer. While we're busy cutting off one branch, two more spring up in its place. Thousands stand on the sidelines extolling the virtues of this or that political candidate, carrying around a well-worn soap box that they stand on to proudly denigrate the opposing party. Meanwhile, hundreds of others quibble over taxes, health care reform, cap and trade, and a smattering of other issues espoused by our federal government.

The Root:
A Government of Military Persuasion.

It is a little known fact that the government of North Carolina was put into place by military order - military order number 120, to be exact. Through the Reconstruction Acts and the forced amending of the Constitution, a military coup occurred and put into place the government of North Carolina which is operating today; no longer a government of consent by the people, but one of fraud, coercion and force.

Prior to the Reconstruction Acts, and the 14th amendment to the constitution which resulted, the Federal government had no control, and no authority over the lives or property of the people of the several states. In direct contrast to the intentions of the founders of America, we now see a total invasion by the federal government in nearly every aspect of our lives. No longer are we authoritative State Citizens exercising constitutionally protected liberties, but we have become subjugated U.S. citizens begging an overbearing federalized government for some semblance of freedom.

The Remedy:
Recognize LAWFUL State Government.

In 1997, John Ainsworth, along with several others, legally re-established the de jure (lawful) state of North Carolina. The North-Carolina American Republic, or NCAR, has been in operation since that time and convenes monthly. The basis of this re-establishment is rooted in a legal argument that is supported by irrefutable historical evidence which was uncovered by Ainsworth as a result of over 19 years of study. Armed with this knowledge, lawful state citizens have taken the matter to court - demanding that the current state of North Carolina prove its lawfulness.
